Psyclarity Health Veteran Treatment Program
Psyclarity Health Veteran
Treatment Program
In association with the Department of Veterans Affairs, we are excited to become part of the Community Care Network of providers, aiming to improve healthcare for American veterans. The VA Community Care Network (CCN) serves as the primary national network used by the VA to procure community care for veterans. CCN employs standard industry practices and guidelines to deliver services, ensure prompt payment, and manage the network effectively, guaranteeing timely and superior care for veterans.
Veterans form the core of our nation, dedicated to protecting our citizens and maintaining national security. We recognize the distinct challenges faced by our active military personnel and veterans. Psyclarity Health, a veteran-owned center specializing in substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment, is dedicated to offering specific care to our American heroes.
Psyclarity Health is honored to collaborate with Tricare, a leading healthcare program for uniformed service members, retirees, and their families. Our partnership focuses on providing specialized care to meet the distinct needs of military personnel and veterans struggling with addiction and mental health issues. Our treatment services, based on scientific evidence, cater to the military community, in line with Tricare’s mission to improve the health and well-being of those who have served.
The Challenges Veterans Face
While military training imparts various skills, coping with trauma is not typically among them. Given the intense stress faced by military members, it’s not surprising that issues with drugs and alcohol often arise. In 2020, approximately 290,000 veterans aged 18 and older were dealing with drug or alcohol addiction. Additionally, over 50,000 U.S. troops have been diagnosed with PTSD from violence or military sexual trauma.
Many veterans and active service members suffer from severe, long-lasting PTSD symptoms such as anxiety, paranoia, flashbacks, nightmares, and sometimes hallucinations. Various triggers can disrupt their transition back to civilian life, leading to a range of avoidance behaviors. Often, these individuals turn to drug abuse and alcohol as a way to suppress the symptoms of PTSD, which can lead to substance use disorders and exacerbate their challenges. The severe mental strain from these conditions often pushes veterans to suicide.
Despite the clear need for support, including potential drug and alcohol rehabilitation, many veterans don’t seek mental health treatment due to stigmas associated with treatment. The mere anticipation of facing prejudice can deter many from seeking the assistance they need. At Psyclarity Health, we are committed to dismantling these stigmas, enabling veterans and military personnel to access the support they rightfully deserve.
Our Veterans Mental Health and Rehab Program
At Psyclarity Health, we offer a variety of mental health services and treatment programs specifically designed to meet the needs of active military members and veterans. Our focused treatments target trauma and post-traumatic stress at their root. Recognizing that trauma impacts individuals differently post-service, we approach each case on a personal level, crafting specific treatments for any mental health and addiction issues stemming from one’s experiences.
Our streamlined administrative procedures facilitate easy access, ensuring patients benefit from a comprehensive range of customized services. This encompasses constant access to a team of nursing, addiction, and healthcare professionals, maintaining a one-to-one patient-to-staff ratio. Patients are provided 24/7 care by dedicated staff who are well-versed in the complexities of mental health and addiction issues faced by veterans.
We acknowledge the strain mental health issues can place on personal relationships. Our therapy sessions, both individual and family-oriented, are geared towards repairing and strengthening these bonds as part of a long-term recovery strategy. Our feedback-informed treatment incorporates cutting-edge techniques and therapies, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). Additionally, we offer transportation assistance to ensure logistical challenges do not hinder anyone from seeking help. We arrange travel for veterans requiring treatment, including those with travel-limiting disabilities.
